Project Overview

RPC List is a web application that provides developers with a collection of endpoints to connect to blockchain nodes. It helps users compare and select RPC providers based on real-time performance metrics such as latency and uptime.

My Role

I was responsible for updating the UX and UI of the web application and implementing the frontend. This involved creating a seamless, intuitive interface that presented complex, real-time data in an easy-to-understand way.

Challenges

The main challenge was designing a UI that could display real-time performance statistics—like latency and uptime—across multiple RPC providers side by side. The goal was to help developers quickly and easily compare providers and choose the best one for their needs.

Approach

  • I worked closely with stakeholders to learn what the business and users needed.
  • We conducted user research and competitor analysis, focusing on main competitors like Chainlink and dRPC.
  • I teamed up with developers to make sure the frontend worked well and showed real-time data smoothly.
  • We started by creating prototypes to test ideas and built a clickable prototype for user feedback.
  • I focused on making the design clear and easy to use so technical info was simple to understand.
  • I created a clean, modern interface that let users compare providers quickly.
  • I also added dark and light modes using Figma variables to keep the look consistent and easy to switch between.

Outcome

The updated RPC List application now offers developers a powerful, user-friendly tool to monitor and compare multiple blockchain providers in real time, improving decision-making and efficiency.
