Background

Adoption is a new blockchain initiative focused on improving how users and developers interact with decentralized technology. The project aims to make Web3 more accessible by offering intuitive tools, clear documentation, and a simplified onboarding experience. As a brand-new platform, the website plays a critical role in explaining the vision, building trust, and helping users understand how to get started.

My role was to design and build the website from the ground up. Since there was no previous design system or content structure, everything from layout to visual language had to be created from scratch with clarity, performance, and scalability in mind.

Problem

As a new project, Adoption had no digital presence or user-facing materials. This meant the website had to do a lot of heavy lifting: introduce the protocol, explain how it works, highlight its unique value in the Web3 space, and appeal to both developers and non-technical users.

Without an existing framework or design direction, the challenge was to create something that felt both trustworthy and forward-looking. The site needed to be responsive, developer-friendly, and visually distinctive—avoiding the generic feel of many blockchain landing pages while still delivering technical clarity.

Approach

We began by defining a clear content structure that could speak to both newcomers and seasoned Web3 developers. I created a modular design system from scratch using Figma, making it easy to scale and adapt as the project grows. The visual style was built to feel modern and trustworthy, with strong typography, clear hierarchy, and a flexible layout system that performs well across screen sizes.

To help Adoption stand out, I introduced custom 3D visuals and subtle animations that explain key parts of the protocol in an engaging way. These visuals helped communicate abstract blockchain concepts in a simple, visual-first manner—especially helpful for onboarding non-technical users.

On the development side, I focused on performance and responsiveness. The frontend was built with clean, component-based code to ensure fast load times and a smooth experience on both desktop and mobile. Animations were optimized to enhance interactivity without slowing down the site.

The final result was a polished, informative website that tells a clear story, reflects the innovation behind Adoption, and provides a strong foundation as the product evolves.
